Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Thank you for saving my life Dr Sherman! You are the best Dr. ever!
Swedish Patient

we like Dr. Sherman, but the amount of time we have to wait to be with her for ten minutes is unreasonable. Our time is valuable, too.
Swedish Patient

terrible listener, rude, arrogant, yells at me for not crying it out when child is already sleeping through the night. doesn't make sense!
Swedish Patient

I feel Dr. Sherman has provided me with education to deal with my Diabetes type 2 condition and my quality of life is great.
Swedish Patient

I had asked if an appointment was necessary or if I could just do the lab test and the nurse on the phone had told me there would be a lot of information. The doctor was willing to answer my questions but did not provide any real information beyond the very basics without prompting, so I considered the appointment to be largely a waste of time since my questions and her answers were fairly basic and I didn't really learn anything new.
Swedish Patient

The doctor seemed irritated by some of my questions about my baby's sleep and hair. She was dismissive.
Swedish Patient

It was my first visit and I was very impressed! [...]

Dr. Carolyn Sherman is an excellent physician
Swedish Patient

Awful! Dr. Sherman was condescending and rude. Did not take the time to listen to me, and then got angry at me for asking questions she said were "redundant" and clearly demonstrated that I "wasn't listening". I cannot begin to express enough how terrible my experience with Dr. Sherman was.
Swedish Patient

the last time I visited Dr. Sherman she was kind, courteous, patient. this last visit I was struck by her irritation overall to me visiting. I didn't feel welcome. she didn't ask me any questions. there wasn't even any polite discussion about how I was - it was like she didn't even remember me. [...]
Swedish Patient

it would be great if the doc would make the follow up appt right there in the doctors office or call back in the nurse to make it. doc said to follow up in 3 weeks, but nothing was done to make that appt.
Swedish Patient

I like my care provider and I would recommend her as well
