Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr. Sato was fantastic!

Once Dr. Sato and the pre-op staff realized I am an RN, they stopped treating me like a 'mindless' patient who needed simple words and simple explanations (that has been a pet peeve of mine about medical providers most of my life). I was treated as an intelligent human being and respected for my knowledge and education.

Dr. Sato is so awesome! I was immediately comfortable from the beginning when she first started talking!

Dr. Soto is the greatest. I'm impressed.

As an old, retired RN, I worried that I would get some young, cocky non-listening wet behind the ears greenhorn. [...] she was knowledgeable, courteous, understood my fears--and she listened--well! She did not talk down to me, but treated me as a member of her health care team. I came in read for a battle, I left trusting her completely. That says a lot [...]

Dr. Sato is fantastic! Can't say enough good things about her.

The care provider was very professional, friendly and empathic.

I liked her. She was a very pleasant person with a positive attitude and listened. Gave me her opinions. She was also a personable Dr. I really liked her.

Though absolutely no fault of the doctor, I do wish the appointments didn't feel so rushed. [...] If the pace were a little more leisurely, I might have the chance to think of questions that I forget to ask in the ten minute appointment. I feel like I have to bring an agenda to get everything I need addressed. I want to emphasize that this has absolutely NOTHING to do with the doctor's demeanor. She does not try to rush me. It is more about the narrow time frame.
