Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I am unlikely to recommend Swedish care providers due to the outrageous wait times for appointments.

After the initial CPAP take home test, a technician called and told me that I had some statistics show that I needed to get a CPAP (which I did). This needs to be reconsidered. I did not feel that the call and brief discussion was enough for the diagonsis and recommended treatment. Felt like a "machine" approach to this difficult issue. I needed to schedule an interim visit (before the 2 or 3 month follow-up appt.) to have the Dr. show me (more) and answer questions regarding the results of the sleep test. It is a difficult treatment and you need to bring the patient "onboard" or the result will be failure by the patient to work through the difficulties and persevere to be a CPAP user. And it is so important for the patient's health. I think you are missing a valuable part of the process.

Dr Sapieha is wonderful and the best!!!

I have recommended this sleep study program & physician to others.

Dr. Sapieha is wonderful - very friendly and a great physician it is a shame that her staff is so rude and refuses to help patients between appointments.

Wouldn't recommend instead would ask people to avoid this doctor.

I don't feel my concerns were really paid attention to or addressed.

[...] I called several times, left messages & spoke to the Dr's Assistant and emailed the Dr. trying to get the name of a therapist easier to get to from where I live, and at this time, I still have not received an answer.

I thought she was great, listened carefully, and collaborated well.
