Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr. Pollock is awesome! He is very caring and gives clear explanations in terms that are easy to understand. He's very thorough and takes time to answer any and all questions. He was the only OGBYN to catch that I had migraines with auras and couldn't take certain kinds of birth control. I would recommend him to anyone!

My husband and I were both very confident about Dr. Pollack's knowledge and his empathy, and he did his best to communicate the situation very clearly to us and answer all our questions to our satisfaction. However […], he seems to have a little difficulty with the speed of his speech. […], we were prepared for this and it didn't impact our visit, but I would unfortunately feel some hesitation in recommending him to a friend or family member because I think if […] we had not both been ready to listen very attentively and feel confident in asking clarifying questions when needed, or even if we were not both relatively well-educated and used to complex terminology, we might have had difficulty his speech patterns, or even felt stressed by them. We both got the sense that he was a great doctor with an otherwise fantastic manner, […]

Dr Pollack speaks extremely quickly and mumbles a bit. He is very conscientious and I trust his medical judgment, but communication could be strengthened by just slowing down a bit.

He was running a little big deal. Entered the room and dove right into things, speaking a little too fast. He needs to take the time to slow down a bit and create a more calming, relaxed environment. [...]

I experienced considerable upper abdominal bloating after the medical procedures which lasted 2 days. I was not informed this may occur and researched online to find the information on post-procedure side effect.

He was great! And found out that a medication I have been taking for YEARS put me at increased risk of stroke because I have [...]. My previous OBGYN and NP both missed this [...].

Dr Pollack is one of the best doctors I have routinely seen. He is friendly, very knowledgeable, and will explain things throughly. I highly recommend him.

Explained several concerns right when we met & he asked how things were going. He stated I was lucky for having such an easy pregnancy. He clearly hadn't read my chart [...]. Will never go to this dr. again.

Always a great experience, thank you for taking such good care of me

My partner and I both really liked Dr Pollock and look forward to having him as our provider moving forward

Seems like he has pressured speech. Talked a lot but didn't listen much. Makes me feel anxious.
