Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Excellent experience. Have already recommended him.

I am very happy to have a neurologist familiar with my rare condition.

[...] An unbelievable doctor.

Provider did not seem to ask enough questions, nor attempt to do a proper diagnosis for my issue. Spent far too long for this appointment to have such poor support. I come in with issues due to a MVA, and inform the doctor of possible issues with two nerve locations. He doesn't even ask or try to check these locations. Instead goes out to I guess check my MRIs, comes back and tells me I don't have MS.... Yeah, I never thought for a second I had MS [...] Then told me I needed to go to floor 5 for labs. Exactly like that, he was done [...] Also, no clear explanation was given at all what these labs were for. So he couldn't help me, but still wanted to run potentially expensive tests on me?? I was hoping they might be for my actual issue I was there for, so ok, I went for the labs. A few days later I find out the results, and what the tests were for. They were for immune issues relating to MS!! Why would he run tests on something we both know I don't have? [...]

He's the best.

Dr. Murphy is, in all candor, a huge asset to the Swedish program and, specifically, the Neurology Dept. Despite the inconvenience to now have to travel from Seattle to Issaquah to see him, I am more than willing to do so given the care and expertise he has always and continues to provide.

No kidding I was shocked how professional and how complete care was

Very good
