Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

She is among the top doctors in this country, hands down. Dr. Mittal treats the whole patient and has incredible active listening skills and compassion for all patients.

Doctor seemed more rushed than usual. Did not have time to address chronic neck pain. Keeps telling me I'm on too many pain meds but has not addressed other options. [...]

I did not get results of test, which she indicated I would get. I did get an email asking me to access my medical account for test results, but I have never done that, and don't have a password that I remember.

I tend to get a high reading on my blood pressure when I am first in the medical office; neither the nurse nor the doctor did a re-check once I had been in the exam room for 15 to 20 minutes. In fact it was glossed over in the conversation.

I am very happy with this PCP. For years I stayed away from traditional medicine because things were very different. Due to my age and future needs, I chose to establish a working relationship with an MD again and was fortunate to have selected one that is super and fits my personal needs.

Dr. Mittal is very collaborative with how we go forward with medications or lifestyle changes. I appreciate how she talks to me, not at me. She is straight forward with what her recommendations are and I feel I am part of the decision and buy in to what I need to do going forward.

Dr. Mittal has been our primary physician for years and is now considered a close friend and confidant as well as our primary doctor.

She doesn't act quickly when I'm in need of care, and does not provide the care herself, but will, eventually, send me to a specialist if I stay sick for a long time, if I get Much worse and if I ask her to. She seems to mainly triage me out to see some other Dr., but only if I am persistent. I have gotten Much more ill without her doing anything to help me herself. You know, it seems as though that is her job...just finally sending me to a specialist after I've gotten so much more ill with something. Is this the way Dr.s work now? Or do some Doctors still treat the patient themselves?

I find Dr. Meetel to be professional, very knowledgeable, and most of all extremely personable. I have never felt more comfortable with a personal physician, or for that matter physician.

I was extremely pleased with this experience Dr. Mittal took more than an hour discussing my concern and follow up.

This was not what I expect from Dr. Mittal. She encouraged me repeatedly to discontinue feeding (breast feeding) my newborn to take medication. I expressed that this was not possible & she pushed hard for me to stop. [...]
