Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Visits with Dr. Merrill are always more like chats with an old friend, who also happens to know a lot about sleep medicine.

Just the long time for an appt. All else about this place is excellent. That is probably why the wait time is So long!

This is an annual appointment required for [...] to pay for CPAP care. The appointment is a waste of time, mine and the providers, because there are no issues that require an appointment. This ritual could easily be dealt with on the phone or by email. [...]

Dr. Merrill is a very comfortable person to spend time with. I believe his knowledge of the subject matter is very high. He asks good questions relative to my condition, and he answers my questions using words that I can understand. I feel very well taken care of.

Dr. Merrill is a great guy. He patiently listens to me whine during our annual visits about how much I miss my adult children who live far away.

Dr. Merrill made me feel apart of the decision making progress of the CPAP Machine and which mask that would better suit my needs so that I would feel comfortable in using the equipment. He also made sure this was placed in the equipment prescription so I would no run into any difficulties when it came time to place my order with the supplier.
