Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Provider was not friendly at all. I was asking her questions since it is cancer I am dealing with and she was short. She rushed through the whole appointment even though I only took 15 minutes of her time. I wanted to know all the information. I will try to not ever see her again.

Provider seemed a little extreme in assessment of risk to additional health question I asked. I ended up asking another doctor for a second opinion because of it.

[...] I did not spend enough time with her, had never seen her before and my issue turned out to be simple. [...]

Provider was condescending in providing explanation and shared little empathy or alternative method of treatment in my concerns even when I expressed them multiple times.

I really appreciate the printed out instructions given to me about any medication or issue I had. It's extremely convenient. Dr. Lin was incredibly helpful and kind, even as I thought my minor issue was almost something I didn't have to come in for.

the only problem was lack of access to my records. Therefore there might have been a duplication of tests ordered.

Liked the follow-up call to discuss test results. Would have liked to know what other options I have (if any) than a colonoscopy).
