Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

While I very much like having Martha Leigh as my doctor, it is VERY hard to schedule an appointment with her within an acceptable timeframe. [...] I really like seeing Dr. Leigh as my physician, but the scheduling/timing issues with the business office are frustrating.

Let's face it, no doctor has time to thoroughly talk with a patient. There is never enough time. So given that I had only 20 minutes, Dr. Leigh did the best that she could.

I asked her to renew a long time prescription that needs to be name brand only (non-name brand doesn't work for me), and she renewed it as a generic.

When I happened to get Dr. Leigh for confusing symptoms I was having, she very capably sorted them out with tests and then sent me on to an endocrinologist for further testing. I appreciated and respected her thoroughness so much that I asked her to be my primary care doctor. She listens and interprets what I am saying in ways I have not experienced with other doctors.

I have been with Dr. Leigh for more than 10 years, I know her well as a provider and hope that as I age she is there for me as PCP, or if she retires, I find someone as good. She is an excellent provider/PCP. I trust her. Please be nice to her. :-)

Dr. Leigh was friendly enough. I was in really bad pain from [...]. It was visible I was in pain, although I vocally told her this as well. [...] I also knew what to avoid, but I came to the doctor to help with the pain, which was severe, and I left the doctor still in pain. I know about [...] so my visit with Dr. Leigh was honestly a waste of my time. [...] In short she was ineffectual for me personally. [...]

I felt like the "bedside manner" of my provider was poor and lacked any amount of follow-up.

I was hoping to ask about depression and she just rushed out of the room without giving me a chance to ask any sort of question. I left feeling like I had bothered her.

This provider does not have good/friendly or open bedside manner. She seemed dismissive of my concerns & simplified the issue. [...]
