Dr. Kenneth Fung is originally from New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University, received a master’s degree in physiology at North Carolina State, and earned medical and business degrees at East Carolina University. He completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, followed by a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Charles Retina Institute. He specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous, with particular interest in the medical and surgical management of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and complex retinal detachments.

I offer compassionate and specialized care for disease of the retina and vitreous. I have broad experience in the advanced medical and surgical manegement of vitreoretina diseases, using the latest techniques available.
