Biography & Education

I take care of you as I would want my own family members to be taken care of by their medical doctor. I want to establish a long term relationship of trust with you, my patient. Listening to you, understanding your problem, having you trust my judgment, and having you follow our plan of care is what treating your health problem is all about.

Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr. Irizzary is kind, incredibly intuitive and smart. He has an emotional intelligence that I've never experienced in any other physician, making him uniquely qualified to care for people. [...] I also appreciate that he know I work in the sciences, so he will go in more detail at times when I ask.
Swedish Patient

I appreciated that he remembered who I was each visit. He would ask me about stuff we talked about in a prior appointment. That really makes me feel confident in Dr. Irizzary as a patient.
