Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr. Hills is great.

No complaints.

Dr. Hills and her office staff have excellent customer service. I recently moved to Olympia, but still see Dr.Hills for my care. [...]

This felt like a really great visit. I had seen a few specialists since my last visit and Dr. Hills was aware of the visits and tests. I was really glad that we had a chance to address the medical concern, but also to go over the specialist visits and see that we were on the same page.

I was prescribed antibiotics for my problem, which are often not approved for breastfeeding. With a 3mo old baby this was an important concern and Dr. Hills double checked the medication and assured me it was approved for lactation. I'm so glad to have a provider that supports the importance of breastfeeding.

Dr. Hills is great! She cares about her patients, not just billing - always makes you feel comfortable and confident with your care!

good quality time with provider

Dr. Hills is a very important person in [...]'s health routine. She really knows how to talk to her and also how to listen!

I feel like the physical examination is rushed and that elements are missing compared to other physical examinations I've had with other Drs. For example, no palpation of abdomen or no pelvic exam (pap smear test only required every 3-5 years based on my age & past history - pelvic exam only performed when a pap smear is required).

She did not ask me any questions and we didn't discuss anything except what I brought up. I think she should ask a few basic questions about how patients are doing mental health wise, sexually, cognitively - it might bring up issues that people are reluctant to bring up themselves or haven't thought to mention.

excellent experience

I am always treated courteously by the doctor and staff, and I always get answers to my questions. I never feel like I am being rushed through or that I can't ask questions or discuss something I am concerned about. Dr. Hills never talks down to me and is very informative and personable.
