Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I wouldn't recommend Hansen because he left a quite sloppy, puckered, surgical closure. If the location of it was more prominent, I'd be very very upset. As it is, I'm unhappy about the scar. (I've never had a problem with scarring, nor has a surgeon ever left this messy/ugly a closure. I hope he doesn't leave scars like this on everyone.

Dr. Hanson was great! But sometimes he talked but I wasn't able to understand.

I have confidence in my care provider only because I heard the good words from others (nurses and other doctors). However our communications have not been great as in, to me, he still spoke a little to fast and with all overwhelming information I need to know and digest, it is always hard. He is a nice and patient person but it is not easy to tell a doctor that I needed more time from him when knowing his schedule must be full and extremely busy. I only wish he could speak slower and use simpler words. Also I hope he could smile a little more and put some sense of humor in his practice, may be?

Dr.Hanson has always been so wonderful to see. It is very evident as a patient how high his level of expertise is. He is very thorough in his exam and explanations and has a kind mannerism. All of these attributes contribute to my sense of confidence in him as a provider. I definitely recommend him to my friends and family.
