Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I L-O-V-E Dr. Giedt! I have been seeing her for +/- 5 years and she has been very supportive of my health and healthcare decisions. Although I know I need to loose weight, she does not bring it up nor harp on me [...]. She has so much respect for me and she knows that I know what I have to do and I will do it when I am ready. [...] I hope to see her indefinitely and I have already decided to have my fiancee see her [...]. Thank you for your great care Dr. Giedt!

I love my primary care physician. I think she is efficient, kind and very knowledgeable. [...]

I recommended several friends and two of them have Dr. Geidt as their primary for several years, now.

Dr Giedt has always given my family the best of care. She listens and make you feel as though you are a friend when you talk to you. No issue is to small or beneath her to take time to listen.

Dr Geidt is excellent; she explains everything, answers questions thoughtfully and is always realistic about care and outcomes;

Dr. Giedt is excellent.

I have been seeing Dr. Giedt for 18 years and I can always count on her, she knows me, knows what my concerns are, asks about my family and always provides great care.

dr.Giedt is an amazing MD. Has been my MD for the past 15 years. She is so patient, smart and always takes time to listen to my concerns. She does not tell me what to do but works with me on resolutions. She is nurturing, has very calm demeanor and always makes me feel better at the end of our appointment. I cannot imagine going to another PCP. I just love her!

I have been going to Dr. Giedt for many years - her office is out of the way for me but I continue to travel to it in order to get care from her.

Love Dr. Giedt!

[...] I got an appointment to see my PCP. [...] Two nurses were kind and tried to be helpful by giving me updates as I waited in extreme pain for Dr. Giedt to finally arrive about 30 minutes late. To my dismay, Dr. Giedt asked me few questioned and appeared disinterested in listening to anything I said and preferred lecturing me than having a meaningful, productive conversation. She seemed unnecessarily defensive bordering on abrasive. Despite my difficulty in speaking, Dr. Giedt continually interrupted me, spoke over me and loudly, ignored and/or contradicted me unnecessarily, and seemed verbally aggressive which appeared insensitive. For whatever reason, I felt little basic concern or compassion from Dr. Giedt unfortunately. I have attempted to work with this PCP and my other 'team of providers' despite my concerns with Dr. Giedt's evidence-based negative attitude and behavior toward me. Over the year I have seen her she has changed my long-term, former PCP's prescriptions without first either discussing at all or fully explaining those prescription changes ramifications to my overall health and long-term well-being. Plus, illogically, she refused to work with some of my other providers of great national esteem without apparent cause only to change her mind for an unknown reason again later. I followed her many recommendations as best as I could, fulfilled her requests, kept her informed, and requested she be cc'd on any reports, tests, etc. I don't understand the problem. Maybe she is over-worked, burnt-out, unhappy, or simply dislikes me personally. Whatever the reason her treatment of me feels unprofessional, immature, and medically harmful. [...] I left my last appointment deeply upset but resigned to having to find a new PCP like past PCPs I have had liked and trusted.

I have recommended Dr. Geidt to many of my friends and they, too are grateful for her good care.
