Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

My concern was getting test results communicated back to me. I would repeatedly call the office and ask the doctor's assistant who may or may not follow up with me. Sometimes it took DAYS for a follow up and seemed the doctor had never looked at the results. Bad communication with patient once patient leaves the clinic.

He appeared to be very competent in his knowledge of my condition/illness.

[...] The care coordinator said on [...] that she called me on [...] to let me know about my MRI approval and scheduling. I checked my phone records; no call from clinic, no voice mail [...]. As a result, my MRI and subsequent diagnosis will be delayed by an extra week and I am in a LOT of pain now that could have been reduced with faster diagnosis via MRI since X-ray didn't show much.
