Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

This was a preventative visit. I had several questions and felt like I wasn't allowed to ask, due to the nature of the visit. Questions were asked of me and no regard or follow up to my answers, example, do you have trouble sleeping, answer yes. Do you have stress, answer yes. No comments about what I could do to improve sleep, stress, etc. Felt like my answers didn't matter, they just had to be asked to get to the next screen on the computer. Not impressed.

I liked my old doctor, but I always felt slightly awkward asking any questions of her. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Erickson and discussing any questions or issues I had.

When my initial test results came back abnormal, and further tests were needed, I did not feel that I was given adequate information about the results. This caused me to worry and have great fear for two weeks leading up to the biopsy. A different provider explained the situation more clearly at that appointment, resulting in a much greater understanding of what was being done and that I need not worry.

I have a complex medical history. Dr. Erickson is very thorough & is able to piece my symptoms together with good results. Always explains what & why. Works well w/my other doctors (specialists) as well.
