Coming from a family of medical and pharmacy professionals, Dr. Dong first achieved his doctorate in pharmaceutics before going on to medical school and specializing in hematology and oncology. In 1998, he was recruited by a community-based medical oncology practice. As a part of the Swedish Cancer Institute, Dr. Dong is able to provide his patients with the best of both worlds: personalized treatment in a nurturing environment, as well as access to the latest advances in treatment. Dr. Dong believes this combination empowers patients and allows them to make more informed choices.

Dr. Dong was voted "Top Doctors" in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine (2012)

Nearly 4,500 physicians, nurses and physician assistants in King, Kitsap and Snohomish counties nominated colleagues they would choose to treat themselves and their loved ones.

A survey was mailed to more than 18,000 physicians in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap counties. The survey asked physicians to name the provider they would seek out or recommend to loved ones.
