Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr A Deshpande is a caring doctor. I feel fortunate to have her as my provider. I was thinking about leaving Swedish with the loss of my former Dr however Dr. Deshpande filled the gap more than adequately

I didn't have a problem with the Dr. It was that I was told to go see other Dr's and take additional tests [...] I also don't like that NONE of my problems could be addressed in this appointment and that I'd have to schedule a follow up [...]

Doctor Aarti Deshpandeis is one of the best doctor I ever had and I am very fortunate to be her patient.

the dr was very nice and pleasant, but singularly focused and in a rush. Really seemed to concentrate on "referalls" she could give me that I thought were unnecessary such as dermatology, mammography and coloonoscopy.

A very good experience, we just were a bit short of time

overall good experience

[...] I just felt my overall experience was a rushed doctor that spent more time looking at the screen of the computer and seeing the patient as a data set. She may very well be a wonderful doctor, but I don't feel I have a good rapport with her. I stuck with Swedish for my primary care because I had had such good experiences since moving here 2.5 years ago. I debated whether to follow Dr. [...] after she left the system, but think now I will likely be following her to her new location.

Just went in because my gyno closed her practice and I needed my perception refilled. I wanted to continue the medication I was in but she insisted on changing it

I've been going to this clinic for 4 years. Due to family history and obvious menopausal symptoms I'm sure it's right around the corner for me but those questions have been dismissed by both this provider and my previous provider and this clinic. If I'm not starting menopause then fine, answer my questions of why my period is gone, why did I gain/lose weight erratically with no change in lifestyle and whats up with the waking up in the middle of the night feeling like i'm burning from the inside out? Because I'm in good health I should ignore all those symptoms?

Dr. Deshpande ordered me to be retested for my existing conditions with specialists, and intends to stop my prescriptions without these re-tests. This is a significant unplanned financial burden on me, and isn't possible at this time, meaning she will remove me from treatments I have been on for a long time. She also contradicted the need for a test my previous doctors had requested, based on no information, she had never seen my test results from before. She did write Rx for my current meds for 1 month but not beyond that. I found that arbitrary and arrogant. She was pleasant enough interpersonally but assumed my previous treatment was in error with no reason. I have a follow up appointment with her and will learn then what meds she intends to continue without my needing to re-validate. I am hopeful she will continue my current protocols after reviewing my medical records which have been transferred to her location.
