Patient Ratings and Comments

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

She worked very well with my ASL interpreter and took the effort to make me feel comfortable during my IUD procedure.

This is the best care provider I've had. I always feel comfortable asking my questions. They are received with compassion and answered with knowledge.

My doctor appeared to have zero awareness of my medical history or why I had been referred to her. She was dismissive of my health concerns. Only at the end of our appointment when she had finally finished reading my file did she appear to suddenly "discover" the very problem I had been trying to explain to her and for which I had been referred. I also found her strategy of explaining the most extreme treatment option first (even though we had already discussed clear reasons why this strategy wasn't even an option for me) to be extremely off putting.
