Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr Chan has been an excellent provider for me.
Swedish Patient

Dr. Chan, the best!!!
Swedish Patient

Excellent -5 stars!!!!!!thanks doc!
Swedish Patient

He is very polite, empathetic and understanding. I'm dealing with complex medical issues and he calms me down and listens to each problem that I'm facing. Dr. Chan gives solid advice and he teaches and demonstrates small things I can do to improve. He is a great teacher and I recommended all my colleagues, family and friends to him. Thank you!
Swedish Patient

Very happy with the level of care from Dr Chan. He's taken the time to really listen to my experience and work towards solutions that work for me. He does his due diligence and takes time to explain his approach.
Swedish Patient

Well, this time I was disappointed because I had several health concerns that dr. Chan didn't take seriously enough.
Swedish Patient

There are high quality doctor and nurses, and have good experienced
Swedish Patient

A+ care. I have no complaints and it only confirmed that I have made the right decision to switch to this clinic after my primare care provider, Dr. [...], left the practice.
Swedish Patient

Doc was seeing other patients in exam rooms at the same time - that can cause delay for patients who's already roomed. Could use more entertainment in the exam room (tv? magazines?)
Swedish Patient

Very good
Swedish Patient

[...] Dr. Chan is good and has been available both times I've needed immediate attention.
Swedish Patient

Dr. Chan is a top-notch doctor and would recommend him to anyone.
Swedish Patient

Very Good!
Swedish Patient

Dr. Chan is the only Dr. I'll come back for. He's the Best!
Swedish Patient

Great overall first time visit
Swedish Patient

[...] I felt very comfortable speaking with Dr. Chan. I didn't feel like he was rushed. He spent quite some time with discussing my health and plan for improvement with my health. Set goals. Encourages good health. I appreciate his approach to care.
Swedish Patient

[...] Test results never communicated back, no call asking if the antibiotics resolved my problem.
Swedish Patient

I had a fairly poor experience at an Urgent Care clinic the week before visiting Dr. Chan's office, and he helped clarify much of the treatment I received there. He helped me understand the medication I was on and how to take it properly. He also made sure I knew what preventative care I should receive and got old records from a previous provider in Colorado. I will certainly visit Dr. Chan again for routine care.
Swedish Patient

I should have called the previous doctor I had rather than establish care with Dr. Chan. He walked in the room, confirmed that I had what I expected, told me he couldn't treat it. He seemed disgusted that I wasted his time.
Swedish Patient

[...] His lack of interest my care was off-putting and unprofessional.
Swedish Patient

[...] he walked in and didn't even bother to look at me, just announced what was wrong with me and started typing it into the computer. I had the "nerve" to say "are you sure?" and instead of, I don't know, pointing at my toe and being like, yeah, that's what this looks like, he said, "I'm a phys-i-cian. I know what I'm doing." [...] Left feeling unsure of the diagnosis because I felt there were details about the history of the problem I hadn't gotten to share. [...] As he said, he's the doctor--I'm not the doctor--so why does he make un-doctor people feel like they should already know the answers to their medical problems? 0/10 for bedside manner. did not give me time to even respond to his questions. voice was condescending. [...]
Swedish Patient

Dr Chan seemed like he was in a big rush, so he spent very little time w/ me. I had to ask him to inspect the range of motion in my injury, & I had to ask him about a brace or any follow-up care. I was left w/ the impression that he thought my injury was basically nonexistent.
Swedish Patient

I considered Dr. Chan to be very friendly and knowledgeable. However, he seemed to focus on many of the things I had not gone in to address [...]. I did make clear that the key reasons I had visited, along with a well overdue physical, were [...]. [...], but he simply carried on without my input: no follow up questions as to what [...] doctor that diagnosed these muscle tears, treated me, and prescribed a physical therapy routine that slowly over time helped the healing I thought. That day we did perform an X-ray on my neck for the tension, though any matter causing migraines outside of my vertebrae were unaddressed, and I have yet to hear back with any results regardless.
Swedish Patient

rushed visit. could have used some more advice. I disagreed with the treatment he recomended.

Swedish Patient

Dr. Chan is amazingly smart and efficient. I trust him 100%
