Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Good: This care provider is knowledgeable. He explained clearly what my issue could be and provided a treatment option. Bad: There was a SERIOUS PROBLEM between this provider; his medical assistant and the pharmacy regarding my medication. [...] During my follow up visit with this provider a week later; I asked for clarification regarding the medication dosage. [...] I could have been seriously harmed from this doubled dosage of medication

Very good.
Swedish Patient

He made two mistakes during my visit. First, He wrote me 2 types of medications and told me I could get it over the counter, no prescription needed. I went to the drugstore only to found out that a prescription was required for the medications. Second, the 2 medications he recommended were for acne which was not what I visited him for.
Swedish Patient

Dr. Chan did not take my pain seriously, and accused me of abusing controlled substances without properly drug testing me. [...]
Swedish Patient

I really like *Dr. Chan. He's great. I understand he's not a naturopath dr., but I would like to be offered alternatives or other options of treatment that aren't pharmaceutical. Other than that, I am very comfortable with him and know he's taking good care of me every time I come in.
Swedish Patient

Talked down - I just wanted to know if I had had [...] and finally I asked him "yes or no."
Swedish Patient

*Dr. Chan is always very informative and helpful. He is a great doctor.
