Most recently, I was an attending physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Seattle Children's and conducted HIV vaccine clinical research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

Dr. Carkin was voted "Top Doctors" in Seattle Magazine (2012).

A survey was mailed to more than 18,000 physicians in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap counties. The survey asked physicians to name the provider they would seek out or recommend to loved ones.
