Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

the perfect example of the type of doctor anyone would want and need.
Swedish Patient

He's that good....
Swedish Patient

Dr. Capp is a very kind and compassionate doctor and I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.
Swedish Patient

Dr. Capp was extremely personable and made me feel comfortable right away. I appreciated that he used and explained detailed and specific medical terminology rather than dumbing anything down. He seemed to want to get me feeling better and on my way quickly, and did just that.
Swedish Patient

Dr. Capp is one of the best providers I've ever had. He listens carefully to the problem, and I don't feel embarrassed asking any health questions to him. He is very knowledge and always follows-up about test results after my visit.
Swedish Patient

I came in for my annual physical check-up. It was over in about 10-15 minutes -- shortest annual I've ever had. Seemed too short.
Swedish Patient

Dr. Philip K. Capp, MD - I am 71 yrs. old. He is the only doctor I have ever gone to that listens to you, is calm, and responds in a considerate manner about my health issue.
Swedish Patient

Dr. Capp is a wonderful doctor.
Swedish Patient

Amount of time doctor spends with patient minimal at best. Dr. seems to rely on notes and speeds through appt. [...] the care at the primary care office seems disorganized and with very little follow-up. For instance, after being referred for a breast exam, the record stated I had a breast disorder [...]. The same with bone density test which stated I had had my ovaries removed, which I have not. Early in my relationship with this office I was extremely displeased with this office. The message seems to have gotten through because my care has been excellent since that time. (Except for the record issue.)
Swedish Patient

Since this was my very first appointment with the doctor I wish they would have scheduled me for at least 60 minutes.
Swedish Patient

Dr. Capp and the nurses at his office are fantastic. They have changed what I come to expect from health care providers.
