About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I have recommended Dr Bayles several times. He is professional, knowledgeable, open to discussion, and has provided me with recommendations to other medical professionals as needed.

Dr. is quite unfriendly. Poor bedside manners. Does not even look at you at completion of visit. Just gets up and walks out.

He had to leave in the middle of the appointment to see to something. He did not really tell me much about why he had to left. Regardless, he was only gone briefly and I wasn't in any dire need of assistance or anything.

Dr. Bayles always explains things to me in easy to understand language without making me feel like he's being condescending. He's not overly friendly but he's never been rude. I never feel like he's rushing me.

I would recommend him, but I can hardly get in when I need to, so I don't think he should take on new patients.

I dislike the new method of the Dr. being on a computer while discussing patients problem or complaint. Very impersonal, cold. I feel reluctant to say much or talk about health problems I have been experiencing.

Dr Bayles understands medicine and procedures. However, I have significant reservations [...]. The doctor shouldn't base recommendations and considerations for treatment based on test results that are two years old and have confirmation that the results were inaccurate because of lack of fasting. Instead [...] rebaseline the test results and then order treatment. Also, downplaying the affects regular exercise has on a body and it's physical condition is something I do not agree with. Finally, scare tactics about health concerns (diabetes, Thyroid, etc.) were claims that turned out to be unfounded when the results from the blood tests were returned. I like Swedish but I will not be seeing this doctor again.

I had seen Dr Bayles about a year ago for the first time. That visit seemed to short. My visit this year was much better. He spent an appropriate amount of time with me and made suggestions and recommendations for my health care. He was very aware of my health status and responded accordingly.

Dr Bayles gives outstanding explanations and has a very calming and assuring demeanor. The one thing I would like a little more of is eye contact--he tends to look at his computer screen a lot.

Dr. Bayles is the first primary I have seen that is thorough, listens and answers any questions or concerns in patient manner. He is also the most knowledgeable primary I have had regarding cardiac care.
