Orthopedics Symposium for the Primary-Care Physician

Friday, October 8, 2010
Glaser Auditorium | Swedish Medical Center/First Hill

The Orthopedic Symposium for the Primary-Care Physician is designed for primary-care clinicians who want to increase clinical confidence in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders by closing the gap between medical training in orthopedics and the encounter with patients presenting with musculoskeletal symptoms in everyday practice.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • interact with orthopedic specialists on a wide variety of topics in musculoskeletal disease
  • gain skills to manage common and unusual orthopedic complaints
  • participate in hands-on workshops conducted by orthopedic experts to apply new examination, injection and aspiration techniques and practice techniques on human models and cadavers
