Grand Rounds provides an ongoing forum for physicians and allied health professionals to enhance their diagnostic, clinical, and treatment skills. The sessions are targeted to all specialties and health-care professionals. The goal of the series is not only to teach best practices, but to actively involve medical, nursing, pharmacy and therapy staff in real-time improvement of patient care at Swedish Medical Center.
This conference is targeted toward the entire medical staff and other allied health processionals. This includes physicians, nurses, allied health professionals and residents.
At the conclusion of this course, the participant will provide better patient care through an increased ability to:
Review current diagnostic and treatment options and incorporate use of new laboratory and imaging techniques as well as new pharmaceuticals
Discuss newer research developments from the medical literature and their related application options
Describe new procedures and enhance current skills through case discussions
Individual learning objectives are provided for each session. They are listed in the MediaSite video player.
