Update in Care for Digestive Diseases: The Emergence of an Integrated, System-based Approach

Friday, March 14, 2014
Glaser Auditorium
Swedish Medical Center/First Hill
747 Broadway
Seattle, Washington

National thought leaders and expert faculty from the Pacific Northwest will provide gastroenterologists, primary-care physicians and allied health professionals with updates on the latest advances and best-practices in the medical, endoscopic and surgical treatment of common GI conditions; treatment of cancer of the digestive system; minimally invasive endoscopic procedures and the current move towards standardization of medical care.

Panel discussions and question and answer sessions will promote dialogue with national experts regarding barriers encountered when incorporating new, evidence-based standards of care and how these barriers might be overcome, improving the participants’ ability to incorporate this newly-acquired knowledge into integrated systems in their clinics and institutions.
