About Amy K. Richardson

Dr. Richardson has been practicing podiatry in the Puget Sound area for almost 15 years, and with 18 years of experience. She is a graduate of the University of Washington where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree. She received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California. She then completed her surgical residency at Legacy Health System/Kaiser Permanente Residency Program in Portland, Oregon. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She lives in Issaquah with her husband and two children. She enjoys outdoor activities including snow skiing, bicycling, hiking, and boating. Due to her active lifestyle, Dr Richardson has sustained multiple injuries through the years that resulted in surgical intervention. She has first hand experience on the healing process and the impact it can make on your activities and lifestyle. Education, understanding and communication are fundamental tenants in care of the patient. She will educate the patient on the conservative and surgical approaches, to enable the individual to make the best choice for themselves.
