Heart and Vascular Research

Heart and Vascular Research

Research and education have played a major role in the Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute's growth and progress. In fact, one of the few privately funded Heart and Vascular research programs in the nation is part of the Heart & Vascular Institute. It gives qualifying patients access to clinical trials that are available at few other places in the country.

Physicians such as Mark Reisman, M.D., have helped raise the Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute's research program to greater national and international prominence through research and day-to-day interaction with patients and peers. The Heart and Vascular research team is involved in over 60 ongoing clinical trials.
