Swedish Ballard Welcomes New Nurse Executive Heather Coleman

Swedish is pleased to announce Heather Coleman, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, as the new nurse executive for Swedish Ballard.

Heather comes to Swedish from Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, a 501-bed hospital, where she most recently served as the senior director of Acute Care. In this role, Heather was responsible for the oversight of the nursing practice, rehabilitation services and transport in acute care and has been recognized for effectively leading change, redesigning and improving processes, managing complex projects and achieving results through high performing teams.

As nurse executive for Swedish Ballard, Heather will be responsible for all of the nursing operations at the campus level as well as working across campuses with other nurse executives and chief nursing officers to improve quality patient outcomes, the patient experience and nurse engagement.

Heather officially started at Swedish Ballard on Monday, Nov. 9.
