Seattle Times Guest Column: 'Seattle Collaboration Could Make Life-Changing Advances in Brain-Cancer Treatment'

SEATTLE, Sept. 8, 2009 -- In light of former Senator Ted Kennedy's recent death due to brain cancer, The Seattle Times published a guest column article in their Sept. 7 edition written by Swedish Neuroscience Institute (SNI) neurosurgeon Greg Foltz, M.D., who is director of SNI's relatively new Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment (CABTT) at Swedish/Cherry Hill.

Headlined 'Seattle collaboration could make life-changing advances in brain-cancer treatment,' the 570-word piece talks about CABTT and what it is attempting to accomplish, the collaborative working relationships it has already developed with numerous Seattle-area organizations to improve current therapies as well as test new treatments through research, and the Center's ultimate goal: a cure for brain cancer.
