Swedish Neuroscience Institute Featured in Nationally Broadcast TV News Story Titled "Brain Surgery Without a Knife"

SEATTLE, Nov. 26, 2007 -- Swedish Neuroscience Institute executive director and neurosurgeon Marc Mayberg, M.D. -- along with one of his patents -- were recently interviewed for a television news story about a relatively new surgical procedure that allows for certain brain tumors to be removed through a person's nose instead of via the previous, more invasive surgical alternative.

This story, produced by Ivanhoe Broadcast News, is now being made available to hundreds of network and cable news subscriber stations across the country, including KING 5 Television (channel 5; NBC) in Seattle.
