SEATTLE, Nov. 22, 2006 -- The Seattle Post-Intelligencer (P-I) today published an article about University of Washington (U.W.) quarterback Johnny DuRocher recently being diagnosed with a tumor is in his cerebellum, near the back of his skull, which is slated to be surgically removed on Nov. 30. Doctors suspect the tumor is benign.
Swedish Neuroscience Institute Executive Director -- Marc Mayberg, M.D. -- was interviewed for the article to provide perspectives on the condition and procedure DuRocher is facing.
