Seattle Times Editorial Supports the Need for a New Hospital in Issaquah, Says It's Great News for East King County

SEATTLE, June 15, 2007 -- Today's issue of The Seattle Times includes an editorial that supports the Washington State Department of Health's (DOH) recent decision supporting the need to build a new hospital in Issaquah to meet the growing demand for acute inpatient services in East King County.

Titled "Hospital: right medicine for East Side," the editorial was published following the DOH's recent decision to award Swedish the required Certificate of Need to move forward with the process of planning for -- and eventually building -- a 175-bed hospital.
