Robert Winrow, M.D. is a nephrologist who has practiced at Swedish Medical Center/First Hill Campus since 2008.  He practices outpatient nephrology at Minor & James Medical, a multi-specialty medical clinic with individual specialties in clinical nephrology, hemodialysis technologies, policies, procedures & systems, intensive care nephrology and intra-operative dialysis.

Dr. Winrow is the medical director of the Home Hemodialysis Program for the Northwest Kidney Centers and a clinical instructor for the University of Washington, Division of Nephrology.  Dr. Winrow also served previously as medical director of Northwest Kidney Center’s Snoqualmie Ridge Dialysis Unit.  

Dr. Winrow received his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in Columbus, Ohio.  He completed his internship and residency at Ohio State University Medical Center. While at University of Washington Medical Center, he completed his nephrology fellowship, was named chief renal fellow and completed his advanced dialysis fellowship.

Among his other affiliations, Dr. Winrow is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the Renal Physicians Association.   

Dr. Winrow has contributed multiple publications, abstracts, posters and oral presentations to the medical community.  He also remains involved with dialysis research through the University of Washington and Northwest Kidney Centers.
