Ralph Pascualy, M.D.
Director, Sleep Medicine Associates
Ralph Pascualy, M.D., specializes in sleep-disorders medicine and has been accredited by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He is director of Sleep Medicine Associates, a medical group with clinics and sleep labs at Swedish/Cherry Hill, Swedish/Issaquah and the Northwest Hospital campus. Formerly, he served as medical director of the sleep-medicine programs at Swedish Medical Center and Providence Seattle Medical Center (now Swedish/Cherry Hill).
Besides being an accredited clinical polysomnographer in sleep-disorders medicine, Dr. Pascualy holds board certifications from the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. He is also a clinical assistant professor for the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Washington (U.W.) School of Medicine.
Dr. Pascualy is a former recipient of the distinguished William C. Dement Award in Sleep-Disorders Medicine and has spoken and written widely on the topic of sleep disorders. He is co-author of Snoring and Sleep Apnea: Sleep Well, Feel Better (Demos Medical Publishing, Inc., 2000, third edition).
He earned his bachelor's degree from Columbia University and his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine before doing his internship and residency through the U.W. School of Medicine. While in medical school, he completed two National Institute of Mental Health fellowships - one in consultation/liaison psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine, and the other in epidemiology through Mental Health Services at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Later, he completed a sleep disorders fellowship with the Stanford University Sleep Lab.
Dr. Pascualy is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Sleep Disorders Association, American Medical Association, Washington State Medical Association and the King County Medical Association.
