Margaret Linn, M.D., is a radiologist who serves as medical director of the Medical Imaging Services Department at Swedish Medical Center/First Hill Campus. She is a partner in Seattle Radiologists, one of the region's largest and most respected radiology practices, and began practicing at Swedish in 1990.
Dr. Linn specializes in diagnostic radiology with subspecializations in musculoskeletal radiology (MRI, CT, injections), breast imaging (mammography, breast ultrasound and imaging-directed breast biopsy) and general pediatric radiology (fluorography and plain film).

As medical director of Swedish's Imaging Services Department, Dr. Linn works closely with medical center managers on clinical, operating and information systems to enhance the overall quality of the department. She also serves as the liaison between the radiologists and Human Resources, between the radiologists and department management and between the radiologists and referring clinicians.

Dr. Linn is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn., and holds an undergraduate degree in engineering. She interned at Tucson Hospital's Medical Education program and did her residency in radiology at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta. Dr. Linn also completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the prestigious Mallinkrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis. Interestingly, this fellowship also included breast imaging.

Among her other affiliations, Dr. Linn is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Association of Women Radiologists, the American Medical Association and the Washington State Medical Association.
