About the Swedish Blog

Welcome to the Swedish blog!

Swedish is a non-profit health system serving the greater Seattle area for more than 100 years. We strive to be a resource for the community and provide health information, both online and off.

Why a blog?

We know more than 80% of Americans search for health information online. We also enjoy engaging with patients and the Seattle community online – this provides another forum for you to get to know our physicians and other members of our team at Swedish and their perspectives on health care.

Who's blogging?

Physicians, nurses, senior leaders, dietitians, social workers, educators, and even our executive chef! This blog is open to anyone who has a voice at Swedish - including patients. If you have a story that you would like to share, please e-mail us for consideration at blog@swedish.org.

Every physician has the opportunity to blog at Swedish - look for them in our "Find a Physician" tool and click on their profile to view their blog directly.
