Glen J. David, M.D., is a physiatrist and pain management doctor at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute. Ryder P. Gwinn, M.D., is a board certified neurosurgeon and the director of Functional Neurosurgery at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Gwinn cares for patients with neurologic disorders such as chronic pain, compression syndromes, movement disorders and epilepsy. He listens to each patient’s story and provides a treatment plan to remove barriers to a better quality of life. He uses traditional neurosurgical techniques, but also uses neuromodulation and other minimally invasive techniques to preserve the normal body structure while alleviating underlying dysfunction. Sarah C. Jost Fouke, M.D., is a neurosurgeon at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with brain tumors as well as other cranial and spinal disorders, trauma and injuries. Peter C. Nora, M.D., is the medical director of Swedish Neuroscience Specialists and director of the Deep Brain Stimulation Program at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Nora focuses on degenerative conditions of the spine with clinical interests in minimally invasive spine surgery, movement disorders and Parkinson’s disease. Rod J. Oskouian Jr., M.D., is the surgical director for spinal tumors and spinal trauma at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Oskouian specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex spinal disorders, including complex spinal cases such as fractures, spinal deformities and revision surgery for those patients who have had multiple procedures. Alexis Falicov, M.D., Ph.D is an orthopedic surgeon at the Swedish Orthopedic Institute. Dr. Falicov specializes in spine surgery with a special interest in spine tumors, degenerative spine disease, spinal deformity, ankylosing spondylitis, spine trauma, minimally invasive spine surgery, orthopedic trauma, and orthopaedic issues with rheumatoid rrthritis.
