Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an integral part of any health care system and especially at Swedish in pediatric designated areas. Child Life services manages a group of volunteers that are responsible for helping ensure the safety and quality of our activity areas and play equipment.

In addition, our volunteers are trained to interact with children who are hospitalized to promote normalization and socialization. Additional training is also provided to cuddle babies during long hospital stays.

If you are interested in becoming a pediatric volunteer, you must be 18 years or older. Visit the  Swedish Volunteer page for information on volunteering at Swedish.
