Low-cost car seats

Swedish SafeRide provides car seats for families whose infants are born at or receive care at Swedish. Families of any income level may buy car seats through the SafeRide program for $50 per seat including tax.

No appointment necessary

To buy a car seat, visit the Heath Building at Swedish/First Hill, 801 Broadway, Suite 718. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (closed 12:30-1:30 p.m. and on all major holidays*.) No appointment is needed, but you will be asked to complete a form and watch an instructional video (available in English and Spanish) on car seat safety and installation prior to the purchase.
