About Our Program
Asthma is the most common chronic illness in children in developed countries. In 2006 nine percent of children (6.8 million*) in the U.S. under the age of 18 had asthma. Thousands more have other respiratory problems including sleep-related breathing disorders. If your child has breathing problems, or a problem with his or her lungs, the pediatric pulmonology team at Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care has the experience and qualifications to treat your child. We diagnose, treat, and manage children from birth to 18 years old with breathing and lung diseases so that your child and you can breathe easier.
