Preop Classes (Scheduled Surgery)
If you are already scheduled for joint replacement surgery, your surgeon may recommend that you attend this class. It will inform you about what to expect before surgery, during your hospital stay and for the first several weeks after surgery. This class will include recommendations on how to prepare your home for a comfortable recovery. Free.
Swedish/Edmonds: Held the second and fourth Friday of every month (excluding holidays) at 1:30 p.m. in the 4th Floor Conference Room. Registration not required.
Swedish/Issaquah: Held every Wednesday at 12 p.m. (excluding holidays) in the 2nd Floor Conference Center in conjunction with a unique all-inclusive pre-surgical orientation program known as the Joint Journey Orientation Experience. Swedish Orthopedic Institute (Downtown Seattle): Held every weekday (excluding holidays) at 1:15 p.m. in the Swedish Orthopedic Institute (601 Broadway) main floor conference room. Registration not required.
