Diabetes Education Program - Edmonds

Swedish offers education and support services for patients with diabetes and pre-diabetes in Edmonds.

The goal of the program is to provide education so that you can become independent in the daily management of diabetes. We focus on helping you make lifestyle changes to control your blood sugar and decrease your risk for developing complications. The program covers the following areas:

  • Monitoring
  • Nutrition and meal planning
  • Exercise
  • Medications
  • Sick day management
  • Dining out
  • Foot care
  • Complications and prevention
  • Management of high/low blood sugars
  • Community resources


Participation in the program requires physician referral.
