High Dose Rate Brachytherapy

Swedish offers High-Dose-Rate (HDR) brachytherapy, which involves the temporary placement of an intense radiation source directly in or around a cancerous tumor. HDR allows for more intense and pinpointed treatment than external-beam radiation therapy alone.
