Locations

The medical oncology/hematology locations at the SCI offer an interdisciplinary team of physicians, oncology nurses and other oncology specialists who have years of experience treating a wide variety of cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and sarcoma. The medical staffs include oncologists who have specialized in lung, breast, blood, gastrointestinal, brain and ovarian cancers. The oncology nurses at the medical oncology clinics average 17 years of specialized experience.

Care teams include physicians, oncology nurses and schedulers, which allows patients to develop relationships with individuals who are intimately familiar with their needs and are able to coordinate care. Additional clinical and support resources are added to the care teams when necessary to provide the best possible outcomes.

Treatment plans may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, biological therapy, hormone therapy, stem cell transplant and vaccine therapy.
