Robert Resta, M.S., C.G.C., clinical coordinator and geneticist for the program
Robert Resta has been a genetic counselor at Swedish since 1983. He received his masters degree in genetic counseling from the University of California at Irvine and is certified in genetic counseling by the American Board of Medical Genetics and the American Board of Genetic Counseling. He was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Genetic Counseling from 1995-2001, and has been a member of the editorial board of the American Journal of Medical Genetics since 1995.

Pamela Paley, M.D.
Dr. Paley has been providing gynecologic oncology care in Seattle since 1997. After receiving her medical degree at Loyola University, she completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Duke University followed by a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. She has held a faculty appointment at the University of Washington and an affiliate investigator appointment at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center since 1997. She joined the Swedish staff in 2002. Throughout her career, Dr. Paley has held a strong interest in the clinical care and research aspects of hereditary ovarian cancer. She is co-principal investigator of an ovarian-cancer screening program in high-risk women and co-investigator of a quality-of-life assessment trial in women electing to undergo risk-reducing surgical interventions.

Kristine Rinn, M.D.
A medical oncologist at the Swedish Cancer Institute since 2001, Dr. Rinn specializes in breast cancer, including breast-cancer risk and prevention. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington and is board certified in oncology and internal medicine. Dr. Rinn has held fellowships at the University of Washington and at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
