I believe dance, athletics, and physical activity improve the lives and minds of young people far beyond the immediate health benefits. That is why my practice is centered around listening to my patients, gathering the whole story, and trying to get to the root cause of the issue. Whether it be as simple as an acute injury or pain from improper training; or more complex pain and weakness from poor technique or a previous injury to that, or a different part of the body. I then like to work with the individual to come up with the best treatment and therapy program to get them back to their sport, performance, or activity level as quickly and as safely as possible.
Personal InterestsI am a Northwest native and enjoy cycling, hiking, snowboarding, and meeting with my family and their dogs on a sandbar at very low tides. I enjoy rugby, and have been a team doc for high school to adult teams for the past several years, including 2 time USA Super League National Champions: San Francisco Golden Gate Rugby Football Club. Having studied theatre in college, I no longer participate, but enjoy caring for preformers, with a special interest in Dance and Ballet injuries, as well as performers, acrobats, and musicians of all sorts.
