Dr. Gromko has written three books:

Let Me Go When the Banter Stops: A Doctor's Fight for the Love of Her Life,

Complications: A Doctor's Love Story, and

Arranging Your Life When Dialysis Comes Home: 'The Underwear Factor'" with Jane McClure.

All three books deal with kidney disease, diabetes, heart disease, and metabolic syndrome. Dr. Gromko assisted her husband Steve Williams with his home dialysis for over three years prior to his death in April 2010. She has become a self-proclaimed zealot in the area of prevention of metabolic syndrome.
