Philosophy of Care

I want to help women help themselves, control their menstrual cycles, and plan their families. I enjoy delivering babies and providing normal obstetrical care to healthy women. I enjoy teaching and providing education about health and the prevention of disease.

News Release

I am a solo provider. I am available Monday to Friday to provide care for my patients at the Ballard Swedish campus. I see my patients for all clinic visits and because I live close to hospital I am readily available for hospitalizations although I do share night call with the hospital OBGYN practice so there is always emergency coverage. My office staff is easily reached and the phones are always answered by a person during office hours. I spent 12 years working at Harborview Medical Center as UW faculty after my training. In 2007 I switched to private practice and I can now walk to work, go home at lunch to walk our corgi dogs, and best of all, deliver the babies of my neighbors. It is a privilege to practice medicine, I enjoy my small practice, and I plan to continue for many more years.
